Michael Robert Woods

WOODS, Michael R. Of Randolph, formerly of Hingham and Dorchester, died November 18, 2021.

Loving father of Michael and his wife Caitlin Woods of Plymouth, Jeffrey and his wife Tiffany Woods of Natick, and Jillian Woods of Taunton, and their mother Julie Nielsen of Quincy.

Devoted "Nonno" of Katlyn, Daniel, Andrew, Jeffrey Jr., Sophia, and Bella. Great-grandfather of Brooklyn.

Son of the late William J. Woods Jr. and Frances M. (Ciccio) Woods.

Brother of William Woods of California, Mary Louise Lynch of Weymouth, Francis Woods of Marshfield, Patrick Woods of Weymouth, Lillian Coughlin of Florida, Rosemarie Brown of Plymouth, and the late Catherine Woods and Joseph Woods.

Michael is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will honor and remember Michael's life by gathering for a memorial visitation in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Tuesday morning, November 30th, 2021, from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon.

Michael was a devoted provider for his family by way of his self-made business as a public insurance adjuster. He also assisted local housing authorities from Boston through the south shore as an affordable housing inspector where he strived to ensure safe housing to countless needy families and individuals.

Michael's immense joy of life showed though his many interests and hobbies such as traveling the world, golfing, fishing, listening to music, and most importantly, spending time with his many friends and family enjoying a home cooked meal and lots of laughs.

Michael and his contagious smile and laughter will forever be loved and missed.
