Patricia M. "Patsy" (Lydon) Mullin

A lifelong resident of Dorchester, passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 89 years.

She was lovingly cared for at home for the past several months by her children and grandchildren. Patsy was proceeded in death by her husband Patrick “Pat” Mullin, the love of her life. She went above and beyond for those she loved and every friend became family. She will be lovingly remembered by many for her strength, compassion, sense of humor, and quick wit.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Michael J. and Josephine “Phina” (McDermott) Lydon, her siblings, Josephine, Michael, and James Lydon, and her son, William Mullin.

She is survived by her sons, Patrick and his wife Susan Mullin, Michael and his wife Susanne Mullin, James and his wife Rosemary Mullin, all of Weymouth, Stephen Mullin (Ret. BFD) of Dorchester and his fiancé Nancy Renaud, Daniel Mullin of Dorchester, and her daughter Kathleen McCarron and her husband Mark of Kingston. Mother-in-law of the late Jeanne M. Mullin.

She is survived by 9 grandchildren, Katherine and her husband Brian McCarthy, Kristen and her husband Robert Connolly, Stephanie and her husband Tom Mason, Patrick (BFD) and his wife Alyssa McCarron, Ryan and his wife Morgan Mullin, Sarah and her husband Christopher Moran, Christopher and his wife Lindsey Mullin, Daniel Mullin, and William Mullin. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patsy’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Brendan Church, 589 Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester, on Monday morning, October 23^rd at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
