Of West Yarmouth, formerly of Savin Hill, Dorchester, Patsy passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 11, 2026, at the age of 70 years, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Beloved wife of Edward J. “Eddie” White for 52 years.

Loving mother of six children; the late Eddie White Jr., survived by his wife Eileen White of Braintree, Timmy White and his wife Heidi of Braintree, Robbie White and his wife Amanda of Norwell, Shannon Walsh and her husband Patrick Walsh of Savin Hill, Kevin White and his partner Kevin McGonagle of Savin Hill, and Brendan White of West Yarmouth.

Proud grandmother to her ten grandchildren; Maeve and Teddy White, Ava, Mollie and Francis White, Robbie, Declan, and Kennedy White, and Ciara and Martin Walsh.

Daughter of the late John and Anne (Gallivan) Hill.

Sister of Janet and her late husband Bob McGuinness, John “Shaw” and wife Linda Hill, Audrey and her husband Kenny Kammper, Tommy Hill, and Monica and her husband Wally White.

Daughter-in-law of the late Robert and Catherine “Kay” White. Sister-in-law of Cathy and her late husband John Coyne, Barbara and her husband Roger Croke, Margie and her late husband Ricky Higgins, Bobby and his wife Tricia White, Wally and his wife Monica White, and Father Joe White.

Survived by dozens of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Patsy attended St. William Grammar School and was a former color guard member for St. William’s CYO Band. She was a proud graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1974, where she found her high school sweet heart, Eddie. She was a retired proud member of U.S Postal Mail Handlers Union Local # 301 for 26 years. Patsy enjoyed playing her daily numbers, her girls’ trips to Vegas, trips to Ireland, summers on Sebago Lake, and spending time with family and friends. She really enjoyed a good Irish band, and listening to her favorite Irish songs and her favorite musicians Rod Stewart and Billy Joel. Patsy is now at peace and reunited with her eldest son Eddie.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patsy’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, on Thursday morning, September 17, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
