Beloved father of Jaimi L. Cannata of South Africa and Michael P. Cannata of Malden.
Son of Paul A. Cannata Sr. and his wife Maryann Cannata of Quincy and the late Eileen (Healey) Cannata.
Former husband of Susan E. (Ruddock) Cruikshank of Beverly.
Brother of Diane Cannata of Milton and the late Kenneth and Joan Cannata.
Cousin of Richard Cannata of Taunton, Charles and his wife Jaquelyn Cannata of Dorchester, Janet and her husband John Petrella of Plymouth, and Donald and his wife Kum Cannata of Japan.
Also survived by his beloved dog Bridie Cannata.
Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Friday, October 27th, from 4-8 P.M.

Paul was a retired Electronic Monitoring Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Mass. Trial Court for over 10 years and an accountant for Boston City Hospital for over 27 years.
He was an avid skier, a Boston sports fanatic, and a dog lover.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to Great Dog Rescue of New England, www.gdrne.com.
Interment will be private.
