McCHESNEY, Paul E. Of Dorchester, died peacefully on August 7, 2022.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" (Burns) McChesney.
Loving father of Michelle E. McChesney of Jamaica Plain and Paula M. McChesney of Dorchester.
Devoted "Papa" of Brandon, Aliyah, Luis, Lamarques, Violet, and Kyrie.
Son of the late Albert J. McChesney and Grace E. (Sweeney) McChesney.
Brother of the late Elizabeth "Betty" McChesney, and Judi McChesney Empey and her late husband Victor of Missouri, Helen McChesney and her wife Josie of Colorado, and Albert McChesney and his wife Marcia of Plymouth.
Survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Paul's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
His interment with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Thursday morning, August 11, 2022 at 9:45 A.M.
Paul was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was an avid musician, playing the guitar and piano.
