Brother of Patricia Donovan of Maine, Donna Lynch of Melrose, Edward Carson of Weymouth, Thomas Carson of Bridgewater, Stephen Carson of West Roxbury, Ellen Cousley of Maine, and the late Kenneth, Richard, and John Carson.
Devoted grandfather of Brendan, Timmy, and Connor Benoit, Jake and Katherine O'Kane, Marychristina and Taryn McGuire, Johanna, Carson, and Cameron Douglas.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Roy was a former St. William's CYO Girl's Softball Coach.
