Beloved son of Barbara A. Richards of Stoughton and Stephen H. McAteer of Quincy, both formerly of Dorchester.
Loving brother of the late Sean M. McAteer.
Grandson of Jack and Barbara Richards of Dorchester, and Anne McAteer of Quincy, and the late Paul McAteer.
Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, Wednesday morning, October 28, at 10 A.M.
Relatives and friends invited.
Interment private.
