LLOYD, SALLY (Reynolds). Passed away suddenly Nov. 6, 2018, in Arlington, Virginia, age 74 years.
Sally was born in 1943 to Elizabeth Reynolds (Kraus) and Reginald Reynolds. She was raised with her sisters in Oregon, Texas and then in San Jose, Costa Rica. She earned an undergraduate degree from Oregon State University, and a Master's Degree from the University of Texas. She also attended Hill Institute in Massachusetts where she became a Master Weaver.
She was the first supervisor of the Woodmont Weavers (now Arlington Weaves), a work program for developmentally disabled adults that teaches its participants weaving skills. In addition, she also taught weaving to adults in Arlington for many years. Sally was a 42 year resident of Arlington, an avid gardener and an enthusiastic member of her community.
Sally is survived by her son, Nathanael Janulewicz Lloyd, her daughter-in-law, Patricia Janulewicz Lloyd, and her grandchildren, Eric, Eleanor & Caroline Lloyd, all of Milton, Massachusetts; and her sisters Becky Conn of Austin, Texas, and Julie Holden of Daphne, Alabama. Sally was also beloved by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her cherished daughter Hilary Lloyd Holland.
Services will be held privately by the family.
Sally was an open-hearted woman who was marked by her tolerance, grace, humor and kindness. She will be missed by all.
