Loving father of Catherine E. Long of Dorchester, John B. and his wife Susan M. Aylward of Hyde Park, James P. and his late wife Elaine T. Adams of South Boston, Christopher R. Aylward and his wife Terry Craven of Milton, Jean M. and her husband William Ballou, Joan E. Aylward, Mary E. Bellew, all of Dorchester, and the late Thomas F. Aylward Jr. and William J. Aylward.
Brother of the late James, Joseph, Christopher, William, and John Aylward, and Elizabeth Androski.
Survived by 8 grandchildren, and the late Jason R. Aylward and Liam S. Ballou, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Saturday morning, December 7, 9 A.M. to 12 noon.
Followed by an interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
Relatives and friends invited.
Veteran WWII-U.S. Army.
Late retired employee of Hunts Piller and Merriam Bros. Foundries for over 40 years.
Tom was an avid chess player, bowler, and reader.
