McGOVERN, Thomas M. In Dorchester, formerly of Corlea, Blacklion, County Cavan, Ireland, March 8th.

Beloved husband of Margaret B. (Devane) McGovern.

Loving father of Stephen T. McGovern of Dorchester.

Son of Delia (Cassidy) McGovern of County Cavan, Ireland, and the late Patrick McGovern.

Brother of Pat Conboy, Mary Murphy, Packie McGovern, and Peter McGovern, all of England, Anne McGovern and Sean McGovern, both of Ireland.

Nephew of Anne Lebalch of New York.

Family and friends will honor and remember Thomas' life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, March 14th, from 5-8 P.M.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, on Thursday morning, March 15, at 10 A.M.

Interment will be private.

Thomas was a member of Laborers Local #223.

Thomas' family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Carney Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital for their loving care during Thomas' illness over the past 12 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
