Timothy J. "Turk" Barry

Of Milton, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully at home on August 30, 2023.

Beloved son of the late William F. and Patricia A. (Daly) Barry.

Cherished love of Veronica Balfour-Barry of Milton, and her daughters Lisa Polvere of Hanson and Kayla Coyman of North Attleboro, and granddaughter Lydia DiCenzo.

Tim is survived by his cherished pooch “Buddy”.

Loving brother of Nancy Barry of Wayland, Joyce Barry-Sheehan and her late husband Robert Sheehan of Randolph, and William Barry of South Carolina.

Nephew of Michael and his wife Sue Daly, Debbie Daly, and Barbara Dickson.

He is also survived by many Barry and Daly cousins.

Family and friends will honor and remember Tim’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish on Thursday morning, September 7^th, at 10:00 A.M.  

Tim will be buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Wayland, with his late parents.

Tim was a retired member of the Teamsters Union Local # 22.
