Brother of Arlene Salter of Dorchester, John Doherty Sr. of Randolph, Kathleen Hanley and Mary Doherty, both of Dorchester, and Deborah Doherty of Braintree.
Devoted grandfather of Brianna and Stephen Irwin, Aidan and Phoebe Doherty, and the late John J. Doherty-Carter.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass in St. Mark Church, Thursday morning, July 10, at 10 A.M.
