HARRIGAN, William J. In Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died December 25, 2018.

Beloved husband of Marylou McColgan.

Loving father of Diane Harrigan of Weymouth, Sharon Harrell of Quincy, Pamela Harrigan of Weymouth, William Harrigan Jr. of Weymouth, and Chuck Harrigan of Boston.

Brother of Ann and her husband Mario Marmai of Weymouth, Betty and her husband George Corr of East Bridgewater, John and his wife Eydie Harrigan of Auburn, and the late Samuel Harrigan, Cecelia McCloud, and Mary Shapley.

Devoted Papa of Tanaira, Amara, and Trent "Junior".

Survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bill's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Friday from 5-8 P.M.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St., Weymouth, on Saturday morning, December 29, at 10 A.M.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Bill was a retired supervisor for Gillette Company for over 25 years and a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation for over 10 years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
