Beloved husband of Keeta C. Alexander.
Loving father of Michael McCarthy of Dorchester, Michelle McCarthy of Cambridge, Joseph McCarthy of Dorchester, Cindy Alexander of Troy, New York, and Christopher Alexander and his wife Louise Angelini of Hull.
Devoted grandfather of Alexa, Althaia, and Dominic Alexander, who brought so much joy to his life, and estranged but much loved granddaughter Gina Marie Bertolo.
Son of the late Alan "Mac" McCarthy and Mary (Doody) McCarthy.
Brother of Carol Mulkern of Marshfield, and the late Joan Kelly and Patricia Clements.
At Bill's request, there will be no visiting hours. A Sunday brunch for prayerful celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, December 22nd, at a location to be determined.
