Loving brother of Mary J. Murphy of Wollaston and Anne C. and her husband John Lynch of Westwood.

Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy M. Murphy of Scituate.

Brother of the late Dr. Peter J. Murphy PhD (Kathleen), Dr. John J. Murphy O.D. (Anne M.), and Joanne M. Feeney (Francis).

Dear friend of the Morrissey Family, the Randall Family, and the Correia Family of St. John, New Brunswick, and Bobby and Karen.

Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Monday, March 25, from 4-8 P.M.

Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, Tuesday morning, March 26, at 10:30 A.M.

Late retired teacher at the William E. Russell and the Charles H. Taylor Boston Public Grammar Schools for over 33 years.

Member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus, Council #2259, Fourth Degree Bishop Cheverus G.A.

Former CCD teacher, altar boy instructor, lector, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Margaret Church for many years.

Former youth hockey and baseball coach.



Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Christopher Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund at Boston College High School, 150 William T. Morrissey Blvd., Dorchester, MA 02125.



Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
