Of Marshfield, died January 19, 2023.

Beloved husband of Helen “Pat” (Dorsey) Perry.

Loving father of William J. Perry III and his fiancé Leanne Fuller of Dorchester.

Devoted “Grandad” of Abigail, Carissa, and Ava Perry, and Shannon and Reilly Fuller.

Brother of Charles and his wife Colleen Perry of New Hampshire, and the late Frank Perry, Walter Perry, Esther (Nickerson) Perry, and Eugene Perry.

Brother-in-law of Marie Lydon of Mansfield, Barbara Dorsey of Weymouth, Geraldine O’Malley and Al Nore of Weymouth, Dorothy and her husband Pasquale Puleo of Norwood, Michael and his wife Amy Dorsey of Marshfield, Thomas O’Malley of Bridgewater, and the late Joseph Dorsey, Bernard Devlin, and Robert Lydon.

Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and the late Pamela Wickwire, Kimberly Nickerson, and Lisa Dorsey.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bill’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, on Tuesday morning, January 24^th, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Bill was a retired carpenter and member of the Carpenters Union Local #51 for over 50 years. After retirement, he especially enjoyed his vacations to Naples, Florida.

Bill’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Plymouth Harborside Healthcare for their compassionate care over the past year, especially his nurses, Brie and Jodi.
